Giving your best: We expect you to always try to do your best during training and matches, even if things don't always go as you planned. Fighting together as a team is the most important thing.
Patience and discipline: Sport requires both technique and tactics. Be patient and listen to the coaches, be prepared to receive both positive and constructive feedback.
Role model for younger players: As part of Knäreds IK, you represent the club. We expect you to be a good role model for the younger players and act responsibly both on and off the field.
What do we require from parents?
Support and encouragement: As a parent, your support is invaluable. Encourage your child to participate in training, be positive and have fun. Help keep motivation up, especially when challenges arise.
Respect for coaches and leaders: The coaches and leaders have an important role in developing the team and individuals. Show respect for their work and give them space to lead on their own terms. Together we create a good environment for the children.
Be a good role model on the sidelines: Remember that children watch and learn from us adults. Encourage fair play, respect and team spirit both during training and matches. We want parents to be a positive force for the team, both through their commitment and their treatment of others.
Participate in club activities: We expect parents to actively participate in the club's various activities, such as match hosting, coffee sales, parent meetings and other events. It is through our joint commitment that we create a strong and vibrant club.
Stay informed: Stay updated on training schedules, matches and other club activities via our website or social media. Your commitment and information are important for us to be able to collaborate effectively.
Give children the freedom to develop on their own terms: Let your child be involved and make decisions about their own development within their sport. Be realistic with expectations and understand that all children develop at their own pace.
